A Centre: how?
The project timescale
--

THE PROJECT DEADLINE, stated in the constitution of the Trust Fund at 31 December 2006, has been extended for two more years since at that time the project was at a stage that suggests it can realistically be completed.
The timescale for the initial settlement of the residential community will depend on how much work is required to build or make habitable the property where the Centre will be founded. A property that requires renovation or rebuilding may take between six and twelve months only, but if it is necessary to raise the buildings from scratch, the timescale will be much longer.
Given the experience that the Italian community has acquired overall, as soon as the core community is installed, only a couple of months will be needed before the Centre can be opened to guests.
The settlement of the extended community and launch of the related activities will probably require a longer time, which will depend greatly on the physical characteristics of the property the Centre occupies. If the property already has a number of buildings in good condition, even the extended community might be able to settle in right at the start of the Centre’s existence.
